My Infraction
I caused your hurt in a spiritual way
Made you travel cobblestoned pathways
With each step of your Villa del la Rosa,
The splitting of your hair, a crown of disdain
Pressed against your lovely visage
All because you knew my pain.
A gavel struck in the ancient of ages
My share, my sorrow in the first few pages
A hedge wrought between us,
The skin sewn before us,
The many years of bitter bondage,
In shadows bought for a cause.
Your wounded heart
A wounds like rivers run deep
On blended knees did my visage steep.
Each sign, a line drawn in sands of time
The infraction of many became my crime
The battles raged each morn,
The dictators chalis filled at dawn.
Drawing upon my life’s blood as if it were meat,
Requiring a testimony to sift us like wheat.
The crime condensed to shore up the time,
A whistler promised and a father of mine.
Leading me from an injurious fine
The timing, the crowning of my blasphemous whine.
In agony my memories replayed in my mind
A silent pain told over again
Crowded insurrection in the fire this time
And wrote my name the infraction of mine.
